Vaggelis Mourelatos is a composer, producer, songwriter, remixer, and sound artist involved in numerous music projects and productions. In 1995, Vaggelis joined the renowned Patras conservatory “Filippos Nakas”, where for eight years he studied piano and music theory, the latter considered the backbone of musical education. Since 2016, Vaggelis has been part of the Lineio Conservatory, continuing his piano studies while further developing his composition and performance skills. There, he obtained degrees in advanced music theory (harmony) and counterpoint (antistixi).

Over the last five years, Vaggelis has composed music for theatre, performing arts, and cinema (including films and documentaries), collaborating with directors and cinematographers across Greece and Finland.

Since 2010, under his solo project “Elis M. Feeling”, he has released more than 100 singles on over 20 international labels (including No Definition – Italy, Deepartment Records – Germany, Tactical Records – Germany, Seveneves Records – Germany, Komp Records – Italy, Eisenwaren – Germany, Kudoz – England, Claps Records – Italy, Dbeatzion – Argentina, and Prof. Rockstars – USA). His musical style spans a wide spectrum, from downtempo electronic atmospheres to electronic dance music. Through this project, Vaggelis explores the fusion of electronic synthesizers with symphonic orchestra instruments and classical composition techniques.

Under the Elis M. Feeling project, Vaggelis also remixed “Video Games” by Lana Del Rey and “Bullet in the Gun” by Paul Oakenfold, attracting thousands of views on YouTube. Additionally, his remake of the classic hit “Rapture” by iio, along with his single “The Girl with the Sun Tattoo,” reached the Top 10 radio charts in several countries and accumulated thousands of streams on Spotify.

Apart from his solo work, Vaggelis is also a member of the well-known Greek hip-hop band “Feel In”, with whom he has released three successful albums and several singles. The band debuted in 2011 with the album “Anoigei i Skini”, released under the prominent Greek label Legend–Lyra. As a member of Feel In, Vaggelis has collaborated with notable Greek artists such as Natassa Bofiliou, Giannis Aggelakas, Michael Delta, and Konstantinos Vita, and has participated in more than 60 live performances across Greece.

In recent years, Vaggelis has focused on his new musical project, “DarkMatters.” Initially formed in 2018, DarkMatters originated in Greece and is now based in Finland. The project explores themes of introspection, resilience, and transformation through cinematic and experimental electronic compositions that blend analog synthesizers, orchestral arrangements, and warm experimental vocals.
